Calculator Information
What does it all mean?
Total Area (sqft) - To find this, use the formula: "Length x Width".
Total Volume (cuft) - Calculate this with: "Length x Width x Depth".
Cubic Yards - To determine cubic yards, use the formula: "Length x Width x Depth / 27" because there are 27 cubic feet in a cubic yard.
Avg. Compaction Rate - This represents the typical rates at which the material compacts and settles.
Yards after Compaction - Add the compaction rate to your total yards post-compaction.
Cubic Yards Recommended - This is the suggested total of cubic yards we recommend ordering. Keep in mind that this is just a suggestion, and all recommended cubic yards are rounded up to the nearest whole number.
